Why can’t I read/write data from/onto a disc or play files?
•
Confirm your computer is turned on.
•
Confirm the disc is inserted correctly.
•
Confirm the drive and file names are correct.
•
Confirm the disc is not dirty or scratched.
•
Confirm the disc or files are supported.
Why doesn’t the DVD video play smoothly?
•
Make sure your computer is correctly connected to an AC source.
•
The disc may be dirty. Clean it with a soft cloth.
•
Power management may be working. Disable it.
Why isn’t the optical drive recognized?
•
If your computer is turned on with a DVD disc inserted in the drive, the drive may
not be recognized. In this case, turn off your computer and open the disc tray by the
