Service

11.7 Unit replacement    

11.7.1 Replacing the electronics cover

1. Observe the safety instructions!

2. Remove the screws and take off the MOVIGEAR

®

 electronics cover from the

connection box.

3. Compare the data on the nameplate of the previous MOVIGEAR

®

 electronics cover

with the data on the nameplate of the new MOVIGEAR

®

 electronics cover.

4. Set all the controls (e.g. DIP switches, see "Startup" chapter) on the new

MOVIGEAR

®

 electronics cover in the same way as the controls of the previous

MOVIGEAR

®

 electronics cover.

5. Place the new MOVIGEAR

®

 electronics cover onto the connection box and screw it

on.

6. Supply MOVIGEAR

®

 with voltage. 

7. Check the new MOVIGEAR

®

 electronics cover for proper function.

DANGER

When working on the unit, dangerous voltage levels may still be present up to
10 minutes after the mains is disconnected.

Severe or fatal injuries from electric shock.
• Disconnect the MOVIGEAR

®

 drive from the power supply using an appropriate 

external disconnecting device and secure it against unintentional reconnection to 

the voltage supply.

• Secure the output shaft against rotation.

• Then wait at least for 10 minute.

NOTICE

Always replace the MOVIGEAR

®

 electronics cover by a MOVIGEAR

®

 electronics

cover with the same part number.
