UL-compliant installation

INFORMATION

Due to UL requirements, the following chapter is always printed in English indepen-
dent of the language of the documentation.

Field wiring power terminals

Observe the following notes for UL-compliant installation:

•

Use 60/75 °C copper wire only

•

Tighten terminals to 1.5 Nm (13.3 in-lb.)

Short circuit current rating

Suitable for use on a circuit capable of delivering not more than 200,000 rms symmet-
rical amperes when protected as follows:

For 240V systems:

250V minimum, 25A maximum non-semiconductor fuses or

250V minimum, 25A maximum inverse time circuit breakers

For 500V systems:

500V minimum, 25A maximum, non-semiconductor fuses or

500V minimum, 25A maximum, inverse time circuit breakers

The max. voltage is limited to 500 V.

Group installation

Suitable  for  motor  group  installation  on  a  circuit  capable  of  delivering  not  more  than
5,000 rms symmetrical amperes when protected by:

For 240V systems:

240V minimum, 25A maximum non-semiconductor fuses, or

240V minimum, 25A maximum inverse time circuit breaker

For 500V systems:

500V minimum, 25A maximum, non-semiconductor fuses, or

500V minimum, 25A maximum, inverse time circuit breakers

Suitable  for  motor  group  installation  on  a  circuit  capable  of  delivering  not  more  than
18,000 rms symmetrical amperes when protected by:

For 240V systems:

240V minimum, 25A maximum non-semiconductor fuses

For 500 V systems:

500V minimum, 25A maximum, non-semiconductor fuses
