Figure 8.26 - "Reading of variables" group
Adjustment of primary variable
. This group (figure 8.27) provides following features:
Figure 8.27 - "Adjustment of primary variable" group
Adjust lower measurement limit. Lower measurement limit of gas detector is equal to 0%
LFL. Input "0" value in the input field and click "Adjust lower measurement limit" button. In
case of successful command execution, message "Lower limiting level set" will appear in
event log.
Adjust upper measurement limit. Perform actions specified in 8.5.3.7. Enter value of
concentration from VGM data sheet, converted into % LFL, in the input field (value in
datasheet is specified in % vol. fraction). To convert value in % LFL, use formula:
,
100
LL
rS
CH
Cn
where Cn - Concentration, % LFL;
CH - Concentration, % vol. fraction (obtained from VGM datasheet);
LL - LFL of component, %, vol. fraction;
rS - Relative sensitivity to component.
Resulting value should be entered in the input field next to "Adjust upper measurement
level" button and then click it. In case of successful command execution, message "Upper
limiting level set" will appear in event log.
Set zero. Function provides setting of zero for PT. In case of successful command
execution, message "Zero has been set" will appear in event log.
Reset adjustment. In case of successful command execution, message "Adjustment
reset complete" will appear in event log.
Adjustment
of current
loop
. Group is shown in figure 8.28. To perform adjustment of
current loop, a circuit shown in figure 8.1 should be assembled and following actions should
be performed:
