9 End Exit settings
Note - Composition of displayed menu items and subitems, possibility of parameters changing or
execution of commands depend on access level.
Entering configuration menu from operation mode of viewing parameters is performed by
simultaneous pressing of both buttons of multi-channel signaling device MS-K-500-3. The
display of signaling device shows inscription
Set (settings), indication of device address
prompt appears: A XXX . Further, in accordance with 8.4.2.1, it is necessary to type address of
configured gas detector in SI SENS, which is shown in table of configuration parameters in
configuration data sheet of gas detector. Type of device will be displayed after address input -
SEnS (sensor), as well as its address in SI SENS and first menu item - SEE .
8.4.5.2 Fast transition to operation mode of viewing parameters
SEE item of configuration menu provides fast transition to operation mode of viewing
parameters.
When a large number of devices is connected to SI SENS, selection (scrolling) of gas
detector address in accordance with 8.4.2.1 may take a lot of time; also gas detector may be
not configured in MS-K-500-3' list of devices set for viewing. In these cases quick transition to
viewing of gas detector parameters is performed as follows:
Enter configuration menu in accordance with 8.4.2.4 by typing of gas detector address.
Select menu item
SEE in accordance with 8.4.2.1. MS-K-500-3 goes to operation mode
for viewing of gas detector parameters, with typed address.
Composition of displayed parameters in accordance with 8.4.2.2.
8.4.2.6 Access control and setting password to enter parameters changing mode
(administrator).
