After selection of detected component, initialization of primary transducer must be
performed, in accordance with 8.4.2.8.
As a result of primary transducer initialization, values of parameters
LL and rS will be
matched to serial number of PT and saved into nonvolatile memory of gas detector.
Note - matching of value of parameters LL and rS to serial number of PT is used as
protection function against unauthorized changing of parameters LL , rS and replacement of
PT. In case of changing of value of parameters LL and rS or replacement of PT without further
initialization, gas detector will indicate failure in accordance with table 8.5...
In case of damage of value of parameters LL and rS , for example, due to operator's
mistake, they can be restored by running command C05 . Recovery of parameters LL and rS is
only possible if initialization of primary transducer was not performed with changed
parameters.
Value of parameters LL and rS must be recorded in the table of configuration parameters
of gas detector configuration data sheet.
8.4.2.8 Initialization of primary transducer and viewing of its serial number.
To initialize PT, "administrator" access level is required.
Initialization of PT is performed as follows:
- enter configuration menu;
- select
CAL menu item;
- run command C231 (enter administrator mode);
- run command C04 (initialization of primary transducer);
- run command C230 (exit administrator mode).
As a result of initialization, parameters s1 and s2 of Cont settings menu item will be
assigned following values:
- s1 - highest four digits of PT serial number;
- s2 - lowest four digits of PT serial number.
Viewing of parameters s1 and s2 is performed as follows:
- enter configuration menu;
- select
Cont menu item;
- select and view parameter s1 ;
- select and view parameter s2 .
Viewing parameters s1 and s2 is available with "user" and "administrator" access levels.
Value of parameters s1 , s2 must be recorded in the table of configuration parameters of
gas detector configuration data sheet.
8.4.2.9 Configuration of alarm signaling thresholds.
Alarm signaling thresholds are configured in menu item
