14.2 Software update
If the SENEC.Home Li is not permanently connected to the Internet, a software update is required at every
service. You must run a software update at least once a year.
You will have to bring the software update with you on an SD card and upload it if devices do not have an
Internet connection. Proceed as follows:
1. Download the latest software version from
www.senec-ies.com
.
2. Open the zip file and unpack the contents onto your laptop.
You now have the choice of FTP update or update from
SD card. In the relevant folder, you will find the zip file with the current software, and instructions which you can read
with a PDF reader.
3. Run the software update as described in the instructions.
The corresponding readme file lists the modifications and
improvements made in each update.
•
To update from the SD card, you must first completely switch off the SENEC.Home Li again.
•
The FTP update can run while the system is in operation. The SENEC.Home Li will have to be connected to the
Internet for this.
