Devices up to a maximum of 1000 W can be connected when used as mains backup. Mains backup opera-
tion operates from 700 ms after a power failure. There is a delay of around a minute in the automatic switch
back to normal operation.
You must fit a B 10 A miniature circuit breaker when using the mains backup operation. Install the miniature
circuit breaker in the mains backup operation circuit.
You can fit the CM-IWS.2P (push-in; order number 1SVR 740 670 R0200) or CM-IWS.2S (screw-in; order
number 1SVR 730 670 R0200) manufactured by ABB, as these insulation monitoring devices have already
been certified:

It is possible to connect mains backup operation to the terminals of the SENEC.Home Li (mains backup op-
eration is not uninterruptible.).
Proceed as follows to fit mains backup operation:
1. Switch off the miniature circuit breaker in the house wiring to which the SENEC.Home Li will be connected.
2. Cut one 3-core cable to the desired length.
3. Strip the outer insulation from the 3-core cable. Prepare the cable for the AC connection. Place the wire end ferrules
on the individual cores, as necessary.
4. Connect the 3-core cable with the wire end ferrules fitted to the terminals in the SENEC.Home Li in accordance with
