3.0 Warranty

The APT GmbH Automation und Produktionstechnik hereby grants the
customer the right to non-exclusive, non-transferable utilization of the
hardware and software (in the following referred to as the “product”)
supplied to the customer in accordance with the following provisions:

The utilization rights entitle the customer to use the prod-
uct and the documents which are necessary for its use.

The APT GmbH Automation und Produktionstechnik is
holder of all development rights which it has placed at
the system. The customer may produce a backup copy
for data protection purposes. APT GmbH Automation und
Produktionstechnik reserves the rights especially for pub-
lication, processing and exploitation related to the product
and the documentation as long as they don’t touch the
rights of third parties.

The warranty applies ex-works and is valid subject to the
provisions of our “General terms and conditions”.
We will carry out repairs free of charge within a period of
18 months, max. 6000 operation hours after free return of
the product. The warranty begins with the day of delivery.
Within the warranty period, we will remedy all product mal-
functions which are the result of defective workmanship
free of charge, subject to the condition that the system
is operated with the specified capacity and is maintained
properly.
Rights of use

Due to ongoing product support the manufacturer must be
informed about present, rental, letting or sale of the prod-
uct. Otherwise the warranty claim will expire. The rights
of use are subject to the law of the Federal Republic of
Germany.
Assignment of the
rights of use

APT GmbH Automation und Produktionstechnik does not
assume any liability for fault-free functioning of the product
or the accuracy of the parameters.
Liability

Please send us the product or parts of it in original or
equivalent packing and with filled out reshipment papers
and an informative error description.
