The entire configuration, including the network configuration, is now transferred from the card to the
safety control system.
This process may take some time.
Please do not interrupt the power supply or remove the
card during this time.
After successful transfer, the system is
automatically
started with the new configuration.
Note:
If the module shows a fatal error, the module goes into a safe state. The transfer of a configuration
must then be carried out via a
direct
connection with the SafePLC2 programming software.
7.6
Function test
To ensure the safety of the module, a functional test of the safety functions must be carried out once a
year.
To do this, the blocks used in the parameterization (inputs, outputs, monitoring functions and logic
blocks) must be tested with regard to their function or shutdown, see programming manual.
7.7
Validation
To validate the implemented safety functions, the user must check and document the parameters and
links after commissioning and parameterization. This is supported by the validation assistant in the
programming interface (see chapter Safety-related check).
