The PSC1 module supports encoder voltages of 5V, 8V, 10 V, 12V, 20V and 24V that are monitored as
per the selected configuration in SafePLC2. If an encoder system is not supplied via the PSC1 module, it
must be ensured that the GND of the encoder is connected to the GND of the PSC1. If the GND of the
encoder is only at pin 2 of the D-sub connector, the terminal UE- must also be connected to GND (see
also chapter 5.7). Above that, the supply voltage of the encoder must be connected to pin VCC+ (pin 9
of the D-sub connector). The terminal UE+ then remains unconnected.
The encoder supply is to be protected with maximum 2 A.
Safety instructions:

The GND connection for the encoder (UE-) must be connected to GND of the PSC1
