Rotary incising unit
The rotary incising unit is used for stripping the
individual layers of coaxial cables.
The programmable blades ensure the precise
and proper radial cut into jacket, shield as well
as dielectric.
The slug is collected in the waste container

on
the rear of the rotary incising unit. The container
can be emptied easily, see chapter "13.3 Empty
waste container rotary incising unit (Page 129)" .
Above the waste container we find two white
cones

. They serve as a filter and extract small
particles during the stripping action. These fil-
ters also must be emptied regularly, see chapter
"13.3 Empty waste container rotary incising unit
(Page 129)" .
Outworn blades of the rotary incising unit can
be replaced, see chapter "13.3 Blade change
rotary incising unit (Page 132)" .
Q-Cam 360
The Q-cam 360 serves for the analysis of partially
and/or fully produced articles for the quality
control. It consists of a 3-D camera system,
which may represent the article visually.
The produced article may be inspected with the
Q-Cam 360 for the following criteria:

Diameter:
All layers.
■
Stripping length:
Correct measures on all
steps.
■
Partial strip:
Correct measures on all steps.
■
Layers:
Fully removed (with non-transpar-
ent dielectric).
The module normally does not require any
maintenance, hence take care that no slug or
dust is deposited on the optic. It would affect
the final result significantly or avoid analysis.
