Lighter or Darker Shadows, Highlights
Sometimes you want to lighten or darken existing shadows or take the sheen out of
highlights.
To adjust shadows:

If needed, drag a photo from the Transporter.

Choose Image menu > Effects, and choose Color and Tone.

Adjust the Brightness slider and the opacity slider to affect the entire image.

To change part of the image, click the Brush icon to display the brush tools.

Use the paintbrushes or erasers to brush over the area you want to change.
