Duplicating Thumbnails
Depending on what you’re going to do with a photo, it is sometimes helpful to have more
than one thumbnail copy of an image. For example, you might want to see how a
particular shirt looks in various colors, or how a house looks in each of the four seasons.
To duplicate a thumbnail:
1
Select a thumbnail.
2
Choose Edit menu > Duplicate. The selected thumbnail is copied into memory. A
duplicate of the thumbnail appears on the desktop.
Grouping Thumbnails
You can move thumbnails around on the desktop or pile them up into groups—just like
you might do on your dining room table.
To group photos:
1
Select some photos.
2
Press Ctrl/Cmd+G. The selected thumbnails are piled into a group.
3
Grouped the wrong ones? Press Shift+Ctrl/Cmd+G to ungroup them (or use Undo.)
Once photos are grouped, you can move piles around. Select a group, change its
size, or move it out of the way until later.
Press G to group selected thumbnails, then arrange your Soap 2 desktop.
