Attaching and Detaching Options 

 

 

The following explains the warning messages on the plastic bag used in this 
product's packaging. 

  Keep the polythene materials (bags, etc.) supplied with this printer away from 

babies and small children at all times. Suffocation can result if polythene 
materials are brought into contact with the mouth or nose. 

 

Attaching and Detaching the Option Tray 

 

 

  SG800NA and SG800EU weigh around 15 kg (33 lb.). 

  Grip the center area at the base of the printer's sides. Lift it slowly and do not 

strain your body. 

  When moving the printer, remove the option first. Careless handling and over 

exertion when lifting can result in breakage and/or injury. 

 

 

  Before installing or removing options, always disconnect the power cord plug from 

the wall outlet. 

Attaching the option tray 

6.  If the printer is powered on, press and hold down the [Power] key until it turns 

off and then unplug the power cord. 

7.  If necessary, disconnect the USB cable or Ethernet cable. 
8.  Take the option tray out of the box and remove the tape. 
9.  Position the option tray close to the printer. 
10.  Align the connecting parts of the printer and option tray, then lower the printer 

onto the option tray.
