Against incoming call from POTS interface bound for packet network,
Ubigate iBG2016 matches POTS dial peer with inbound call leg. Also it
matches VoIP dial peer with outbound call leg. Against incoming call from
packet network, Ubigate iBG2016 matches POTS dial peer to make a call and
it matches VoIP dial peer with inbound call leg to apply configuration
elements such as codec.
Matching Inbound Dial Peers
Inbound Dial Peers Elements and Attributes
To match Inbound call leg with dial peer, Ubigate iBG2016 uses three pieces
of information in call setup message. VoIP incoming call uses IP address and
five pieces of configuration information on dial peer.
Three call setup elements are as follows.

Called number or dialed number identification service(DNIS)-is a series of
digit string, which is derived from the ISDN setup message or CASDNIS
representing destination.
y
Calling number or dialed number identification service(DNIS)-is a series of
digit string, which is derived from the ISDN setup message or CASDNIS
representing destination.
y
Voice port-The voice port carrying the call.
Possible configuration information is as follows.
y
Incoming called-number-sets up using digit string. ‘ incoming-called-
number ’ dial-peer configuration command representing Called number or
DNIS.
