Configuring Dial Peer Matching Features
Destination Pattern
Destination pattern forms link with dialed string and the particular telephony
device. It is configured in dial peer by using
destination-pattern
command.
If dialed string matchs with destination pattern, POTS dial peer is routed to
voice port and VoIP dial peer is routed to session target. Against Outbound
VoIP dial peer, destination pattern determines dialed digit Ubigate iBG2016
should collect and transmit. The entire dial peer created in Ubigate iBG2016
should possess destination pattern. Destination pattern should possess full
telephone number or the partial number together with wildcard digit(ex:
period-‘.’). Each ‘.’ represents the single digit in spontaneous way.
For example, ‘345’ means the spontaneous seven digit string starting with
‘345’. In addition to period(.), there are various symbols applicable to
destination pattern. These symbols provide flexibility in configuring dial plan
and help to save trouble of creating various dial peers according to the range
of telephone number.
When there is no valid outbound dial-peer for POTS incoming call, the
call processed in the order of sip-server, gatekeeper after the
confirmation of configuration.
