Up to 8 expansion modules can be operated on the DP bus coupler. Note that the
maximum number of data bytes is 64 (input) and 64 (output).

The current process data width can be determined with
diagnosis
(page 149). The Byte 1 / Byte 2 order can be changed using the byte swap mode,
diagnosis
