1. Press the cruise control button. The light around the
button illuminates to indicate that cruise control is active.
2. Release pressure on the accelerator pedal. The
product speed should remain constant.
To release the cruise control:
1. Step on the accelerator pedal.
2. Release the brake pedal, or press the cruise control
button. The light around the cruise control button turns
off to indicate to that cruise control is no longer active.
7. Reverse mode button
The reverse mode button allows the product to move
backward.
8. Blade engage knob
The blade engage knob activates or stops the cutting
blades.

Pull up the blade engage knob to activate the blades.

Press the blade engage knob to stop the blades.
NOTE:
The blades should stop within 5 seconds. If the
blades do not stop, contact an authorised service centre.
9. Seat (with operator presence safety interlock
system)
The seat has an interlock system that stops the blades
if the operator leaves the mower while the blades are
running.
Test the system before each use to ensure that it is
working correctly.
1. Make sure that the direction control switch is in neutral
(N) position, and the blade engage knob is down.
2. Insert the start key, and turn it to the ON position.
3. Pull up the blade engage knob to activate the blades.
4. Briefly stand up but do not get off the mower.
The blades should stop within 5 seconds. If the blades
do not stop, contact an authorised service centre. Do not
operate the mower until the safety interlock system has
been repaired.

11. Hitch plate
The hitch plate can be used to tow loads not more than
226.8 kg (500 lbs.).
12. Cup holder
The cup holder provides a convenient place to store
cups or water bottles.
13. Deck height adjustment lever
The deck height adjustment lever raises or lowers the
cutting deck.
14. Seat adjustment lever
The seat adjustment lever moves the seat to the
preferred position.
15. Side discharge chute with safety interlock system
The side discharge chute deflects grass clippings.
Before using the product, check that the side discharge
chute is properly closed. It has an interlock system that
stops the blades if the chute is opened during operation.
Stop using the product and have it serviced by an
authorised service centre if the blades do not stop
when the side discharge chute is lifted during use by an
obstacle.
16. Parking brake
The parking brake locks the product in the brake position.
17. Accelerator pedal
The accelerator pedal controls the speed of the product.
18. Brake pedal
The brake pedal slows down and stops the product.
19. Headlights
The headlights illuminate the mowing path.
20. Deck wheels
The deck wheels prevent the blades from scalping the
lawn when encountering high spots.
21. Start key
The start key turns the power switch to the on, off, or
accessory position.
22. Mulch cover
The mulch cover covers the side discharge chute,
which allows the mower blade to cut and recut for finer
clippings.
23. Charger
The charger recharges the batteries of the mower. It has
a key hole hanging feature for convenient, space-saving
storage. When hanging by the keyhole slots, use at least
one additional screw in the hole in the mounting flange
to secure in place. Always mount in such a way that the
charger’s LED status light is visible while charging.
24. Operator’s Manual
The operator’s manual provides important safety
warnings and instructions on how to properly and safely
operate and maintain the product.
