Setting the exposure density gradient
Description
Changes the exposure density gradient in manual density mode,
depending on respective image modes (text, text and photo, photo).
Purpose
To set how the image density is altered by a change of one step in the
manual density adjustment. Also used to make copy image darker or
lighter.
Start

Press the print key. The screen for selecting an item is displayed.

Select the image mode to be adjusted. The screen for the selected item
is displayed.
Setting
1
Select the item to be adjusted. The selected item is displayed in
reverse and the current setting is displayed in the adjustment window.

Adjust the setting using the Up/Down keys.
Increasing the setting makes the change in density larger, and
decreasing it makes the change smaller.
