9.6. Analog module error:
Electrical check:
Check the PLC analog module connection with the PLC.
Check the cable connection of the measuring sensors to the analog module.
Mechanical check:
Look for any mechanical damage.
9.7. Carriage clamp error:
Electrical check:
Check the clamp close micro-switch connection points.
Mechanical check:
Check the functionality of the clamp close pneumatic piston.
Check the mechanical contact of the micro-switch.
9.8. Cover thickness error:
Electrical check:
Inspect the reed sensor status at the top end of pneumatic cylinder, located at
the back of the carriage clamp. In normal function, the yellow LED light is on.
Inspect the fuse of the DC motor and it’s connection points.
Check the end micro-switch cable connection points. The input signal on the
PLC is at X1.1, in normal function a red LED light is on.
Mechanical check:
Switch of the air, and try to move the carriage clamp up/down by hand, and
look for any mechanical tightness.
9.9. Air pressure low:
Electrical check:
Check the pressure valve sensor connection point, in normal function the PLC
X2.2 red LED light is on.
Mechanical check:
Check the air pressure of the inlet. Ideal air pressure is 6 bar.
9.10. Milling height error:
Electrical check:
Check the fuse of the DC motor, and it’s short circuit.
Check the incremental encoder of the DC motor.
Check the reference micro-switch, when activated than look on the PLC X2.3
red LED light is on.
Mechanical check:
Look for any mechanical tightness.
