9.11. Obstacle in:
Electrical check:
Check the cable connection of the light-curtain, when active look the PLC X2.4
port for red LED light.
Mechanical check:
Remove everything from the light-curtain area (hand, book, obstacle etc.). In
normal condition green LED light shows that the light-curtain is in function, in
case of red light appears on the light-curtain, it needs to be recalibrated.
Look for any disturbance between the transmitter and receiver.
9.12. Carriage position error:
Electrical check:
Check the fuse of the motor.
Check the cable and connection of the encoder.
Check the inductive sensors functionality.
Mechanical check:
Look for any mechanical tightness.
Look for any mechanical looseness.
9.13. Stop button pushed:
Electrical check:
Check that all the doors on the machine are completely closed.
Check the EMERGENCY stop button is unlocked.
Check the above mentioned buttons connection points.
Check the functionality of the main contactor.
Mechanical check:
Check the functionality of the EMERGENCY, of the STOP, and all the machine
doors’ switches.
9.14. Binding unit error:
Electrical check:
Check the reed sensors on the binding unit. In home position yellow LED light
can be seen on the reed sensors.
Check the connection of the micro-switch of the steel plate.
Mechanical check:
Check the functionality of the pneumatic cylinder.
9.15. Book is blocked:
Electrical check:
Check the book finished sensor functionality and its’ connection points.
Mechanical check:
Check if the book is blocked
