9. Error messages
The Perfect Binder 420 can control the state of the binding cyle procedures and it
indicates if any problem occurs during binding process or with any unit of the
machine.
9.1. Temperature sensor 1 broken:
Electrical check:
Control the Zone 1 cable connection points, and if the connections are ok,
than change the sensor.
Mechanical check:
Inspect the entire length of the connecting cable for any disruptions.
9.2. Temperature sensor 2 broken:
Electrical check:
Control the Zone 2 cable connection points, and if the connections are ok,
than change the sensor.
Mechanical check:
Inspect the entire length of the connecting cable for any disruptions.
9.3. Temperature module error:
Electrical check:
Check the PLC temperature module connection with the PLC.
Check the cable connection of the heating sensors to the temperature module.
Mechanical check:
Look for any mechanical damage.
9.4. Book thickness sensor error:
Electrical check:
Re-set the book thickness once again, because the thickness measuring sensor
is out of range. The sensor responds with yellow LED light.
Check the measuring sensors’ connection points.
Check the analog module connection points.
Mechanical check:
Inspect the measuring sensors’ physical adjustments and look for any
mechanical demage.
9.5. Gluing/Scoring sensor error:
Electrical check:
Re-set the book thickness once again, because the thickness measuring sensor
is out of range. The sensor responds with yellow LED light.
Check the measuring sensors’ connection points.
Check the analog module connection points.
Mechanical check:
Inspect the measuring sensors’ physical adjustments and look for any
mechanical demage.
