This country code determines the factory settings
of bit switches and RAM addresses. However, it
has no effect on the NCU parameter settings and
communication parameter RAM addresses.
Cross-reference
NCU country code: Function 08, parameter CC.
If you change the NCU country code and exit
service mode, the bit switch country code will
automatically change to the code for the same
country as the new NCU country code. This only
happens for the standard NCU country code.
Nothing happens if you change the country code
for the optional SG3 unit’s NCU.
If RAM reset level 1 is done, this bit switch
resets as follows.
