Replacing
Replace the wiper blades if they are worn.
1. Pull the wiper arm.
2. Push and hold the release tab

the wiper blade down

move.
3. Remove the wiper blade.
4. Insert the new wiper blade onto the wiper arm
until it clicks into place.
CAUTION
•
After wiper blade replacement, return the
wiper arm to its original position. Otherwise
the wiper arm or the engine bonnet may be
scratched and may cause damage.
•
Worn windscreen wiper blades can damage
the windscreen and impair driver vision.
The variable voltage control system measures the
amount of electrical discharge from the battery and
controls voltage generated by the alternator.
CAUTION
•
Do not ground accessories directly to the bat-
tery terminal. Doing so will bypass the vari-
able voltage control system and the vehicle
battery may not charge completely.
•
Use electrical accessories with the engine
running to avoid discharging the vehicle bat-
tery.
