6. Safety Notices
In case of damage caused by non-compliance with these safety instructions the warranty / guarantee
will become void. We will not assume any responsibility for consequential damage!
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper use or
the failure to observe the safety instructions! In such cases the warranty/guarantee is voided.
Normal wear and damage caused by third parties are exempt from the warranty and guarantee.
Dear Customer,
These safety instructions are not only for the protection of the product but also for your own safety and the
safety of others. Therefore, read this chapter very carefully before putting the product into operation!
a) General Information
Caution, important note!
Operating the model may cause damage to property and/or individuals. Therefore, make sure that you are
properly insured when using the model, e.g. by taking out private liability insurance. If you already have
private liability insurance, enquire whether the operation of the model is covered before operating it.
Please note: In some EU countries, you are required to have insurance for any flying models!
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product or its components is inadmissible because of safety
and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children under 14 years of age.
• The product must not become damp or wet.
• If you do not have sufficient knowledge as to how to deal with remote-controls or are unfamiliar with the terms,
please seek the advice of an experienced model maker or a model making club.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become dangerous playing material for children!
• Should questions arise that are not answered by operating manual, contact us (for contact information, see chapter
1) or another expert.
b) Before Operation
• Unroll the antenna wire of the receiver of the model to its complete length. Install the antenna in a way that the
antenna wire cannot be caught in any rotating parts. The antenna wire must not be rolled or cut.
• Regularly check the functional safety RC system. Watch out for visible damage such as defective plug connections
or damaged cables.
• Charge the rechargeable battery that is inserted in the remote control for operation according the manufacturer’s
instructions.
• If batteries are used as transmitter power supply, make sure that they have sufficient remaining capacity (battery
checker). If the batteries are empty, always replace the complete set, never individual cells only.
• For operating your model, place the sender antenna so that it is angled to the top. Otherwise, the sender has a much
lower range.
