12. Checking helicopter mechanics
Your new helicopter model already has mechanic basic settings for the swash plate at delivery. The following notes are
only for verification and may also help for maintenance or repairs.
a) Checking and setting the linkage rods
For the required lengths of the individual rods (numbers in figure 6), refer to the diagram below.
Lengths are stated from ball head centre to ball head centre and thus constitute the mechanic basic
settings of the swash plate link. Rods 1 to 3 are present once, rods 4 to 6 twice each.
1 = Length 48 mm
2 = Length 42 mm
3 = Length 31 mm
4 = Length 44 mm
5 = Length 26 mm
6 = Length 21 mm
