Unpacking the DXi6902
Array Module or
Expansion Module
Depending on the configuration, 1–2 Array Modules (RBODs) and 0–13 Expansion
Modules (EBODs) ship in separate boxes along with the rest of the system (see
Caution:
Make sure to retain all packing materials, as well as the documentation and
other items included in the shipping box. The packaging materials
must
be
used if the system is relocated.
Caution:
DXi6902 NetApp Co-Branded EMEA systems contain NetApp Array
Modules (RBOD) and Expansion Modules (EBOD). Do not mix Quantum
Modules with NetApp Modules.
WARNING:
The DXi6902 Array Module (RBOD) and Expansion Module (EBOD) weigh
59.0 pounds (26.8 kg) and 57.0 pounds (25.9 kg) respectively. A
minimum of two people are required to lift either chassis.
The box containing the DXi6902 Array module (RBOD) or Expansion module (EBOD)
contains the following items:
• Rack mount rails
• Screws and spacers
• Accessory kit, which includes the following:
• C13 to C14 power cord (2)
• North American power cord (2)
• (Array Module) 2m mini-SAS to mini-SAS HD interconnect cable (4)
Note:
NetApp Co-Branded EMEA Array Module mini-SAS cables ship in a
separate box.
• (Expansion Module) 1m mini-SAS interconnect cable (2)
• End cap set
