Initializing the Storage Arrays and Software

DXi6902

Note:

If at any time you need to start over in the PTO configuration process, on the

Pick to Order Menu

, type the option for

Reset PTO

and press

<Enter>

proceed with Step 1 below.

On the

Pick to Order Menu

, type the option for

Discover Hardware

and press

<Enter>

The system detects installed hardware and discovers the attached storage (see

Figure 35

). This can take several minutes.

Check the output for any errors or warnings. If errors occur, resolve them before

continuing (see

Troubleshooting

on page 61).
