Each day check condition of raking finger connections to arms and locking cotter pins
on raking arms frame in case they have fallen out
DANGER
Before beginning preparation work switch off tractor engine and remove the key from the
ignition and engage tractor parking brake. Ensure that unauthorised persons do not
have access to the tractor.
5.9
TIGHTENING TORQUE FOR NUT AND BOLT
CONNECTIONS
Unless other tightening parameters are given, during maintenance repair work apply
appropriate torque to tightening nut and bolt connections. Recommended tightening torque of
most frequently applied nut and bolt connections are given in table (5.5). Given values apply
to non-lubricated steel bolts.
