Procedure 8.3 Calibrating the Incline Motor
1.
Set the incline at its lowest position and remove the lift cover per Procedure 10.2.
2.
Remove the four screws that retain the lower front portion of the front cover. Remove the lower front cover
3.
Grasp the center ramp cover and lift it to unsnap it from the ramp. Remove the cover.
4.
Remove the two bolts that retain the incline motor yoke assembly in the ramp.
5.
Carefully, slide the incline motor yoke out of the ramp and lower the ramp until it is resting on the frame.

Access the incline A/D reading via the Lift Test portion of the Diagnostic Program, see Procedure 3.1 (P80) or
5.1 (P30).
7.
With the A/D number displayed set it for a reading of 127 using the CROSSRAMP
and CROSSRAMP
keys.
8.
Rotate the incline motor yoke on the incline motor drive screw until the measurement between the top of the
incline nut and the end of the incline motor drive screw is 9-1/2 inches. See Diagram 8.3.1. While rotating the
incline motor yoke, do not allow the incline motor drive screw to rotate. If the incline motor drive screw rotates,
the A/D number will change. The A/D number must be 127 and the physical measurement must be 9-1/2
inches for the calibration to be correct.
9.
Lift the ramp off of the frame and slide the incline motor yoke into the ramp. Do not rotate the incline motor
yoke any more than is absolutely necessary to align the incline motor yoke with the ramp.
10.
Fasten the incline motor yoke in the ramp with the hardware removed in step 3.
