POSITIONING
•
Place the generator set on a flat and solid surface to
prevent it from sinking.
• Keep fuel, oil or other explosives at a safe distance from
the generator set.
• Select a site that is well ventilated and protected from the
weather.
• Place the generator set safely away from people and
animals.
CAUTION:
TILTING CAN CAUSE FUEL
SPILLAGE
At high altitude, the standard carburetor air-fuel mixture
will be too rich. Performance will decrease and fuel
consumption will increase. A very rich mixture will also foul
the spark plug and cause hard starting. Operation at an
altitude that differs from that at which this engine was
certified, for extended periods of time, may increase
emissions.
Engine horsepower
will decrease about 3.5% for each
300 meter (1,000 foot)
increase in altitude.
A
decrease
in
engine horsepower will decrease the power output of the
generator.
PRE-START PREPARATION
Before starting the generator, check for loose or missing
parts and for any damage which may have occurred during
shipment.
TANK INSTALLATION
1. Insert the LPG cylinder carefully
into the intended opening in the
top tank shroud. Make sure the
high pressure hose is in the
intended slot location and will
connect to the propane cylinder
valve easily without bending or
kinking.
Tighten the belt using the proper locking device
.
The tank should not lift out or move.
3. Install the coupling
on the end
of the high pressure hose
onto the propane cylinder valve connection (similar to
many BBQ grills). Screw the nut
onto the tank valve
until tight.
4. To check for leaks, spray soapy water on the valve and
regulator connections. Slowly open the tank valve. A
leak exists if bubbles appear or grow larger in size or
number.
5. If a leak exists, the condition must be corrected
immediately. DO NOT OPERATE UNIT. Contact
an authorized service center for assistance.

factory installed heat shields in place. Failure to
comply may cause the fuel tank to overheat and
result in personal injury from fire or explosion.

In großer Höhe ist die Standard-Vergaser-Luft-Kraftstoff-
Mischung zu reichhaltig. Die Leistung wird sich verringern
und der Kraftstoffverbrauch wird sich erhöhen. Eine sehr
reichhaltige Mischung wird auch die Zündkerze verunreinigen
und schweres Starten verursachen. Betrieb in einer großen
Höhe, die von der abweicht, für die der Motor zertifiziert
worden ist, für lange Zeiträume, kann die Emissionen erhöhen.
Motor-Pferdestärke wird sich um rund 3,5% für jede 300
Meter (1.000 Foot) mehr Höhe verringern. Eine Verringerung
der Motor-Pferdestärke wird die Leistungsausgabe des
Generators verringern.
Dieser Generator darf nicht ohne alle von der Fabrikseite
installierten Hitze-Schilder am Platz betrieben werden.
Fehler beim Befolgen kann dazu führen, dass der
Kraftstoff-Behälter überhitzt und das kann zu Verletzungen
an Personen durch Feuer oder Explosion führen.
BEHÄLTER-INSALLATION
1. Setzen Sie den LPG-Zylinder
sorgfältig in die vorgesehene
Öffnung in der oberen Behälter-
Ummantelung. Stellen Sie sicher,
dass sich der Hochdruckschlauch am
vorgesehenen Einbauplatz-Standort
befindet und mit dem Propan-
Zylinder-Ventil leicht und ohne
Biegen oder Knicken verbunden
werden kann. Stellen Sie sicher, dass
der Gurt ordnungsgemäß um den
Behälterkörper liegt.
2. Ziehen Sie den Gurt unter Verwendung des ordnungsgemäßen
Verschlussgeräts fest. Der Behälter sollte nicht heraushebbar
sein oder sich bewegen.
3. Installieren Sie die Kupplung am Ende des
Hochdruckschlauchs auf die Propan-Zylinder-Ventil-
Verbindung (ähnlich wie bei vielen BBQ-Grills). Schrauben
Sie die Mutter auf das Behälter-Ventil bis sie fest ist.

5. Falls eine Leckage vorhanden ist, muss dieser Zustand
sofot korrigiert werden. BETREIBEN SIE DAS
