POSITIONING
•
Place the generator set on a flat and solid surface to
prevent it from sinking.
• Keep fuel, oil or other explosives at a safe distance from
the generator set.
• Select a site that is well ventilated and protected from the
weather.
• Place the generator set safely away from people and
animals.
CAUTION:
TILTING CAN CAUSE FUEL
SPILLAGE
At high altitude, the standard carburetor air-fuel mixture
will be too rich. Performance will decrease and fuel
consumption will increase. A very rich mixture will also foul
the spark plug and cause hard starting. Operation at an
altitude that differs from that at which this engine was
certified, for extended periods of time, may increase
emissions.
Engine horsepower
will decrease about 3.5% for each
300 meter (1,000 foot)
increase in altitude.
A
decrease
in
engine horsepower will decrease the power output of the
generator.
PRE-START PREPARATION
Before starting the generator, check for loose or missing
parts and for any damage which may have occurred during
shipment.
TANK INSTALLATION
1. Insert the LPG cylinder carefully
into the intended opening in the
top tank shroud. Make sure the
high pressure hose is in the
intended slot location and will
connect to the propane cylinder
valve easily without bending or
kinking.
Tighten the belt using the proper locking device
.
The tank should not lift out or move.
3. Install the coupling
on the end
of the high pressure hose
onto the propane cylinder valve connection (similar to
many BBQ grills). Screw the nut
onto the tank valve
until tight.
4. To check for leaks, spray soapy water on the valve and
regulator connections. Slowly open the tank valve. A
leak exists if bubbles appear or grow larger in size or
number.
5. If a leak exists, the condition must be corrected
immediately. DO NOT OPERATE UNIT. Contact
an authorized service center for assistance.

factory installed heat shields in place. Failure to
comply may cause the fuel tank to overheat and
result in personal injury from fire or explosion.

Ad alta quota, la miscela aria-carburante del carburatore
standard sarebbe troppo ricca. Le prestazioni diminuirebbero
mentre aumenterebbe il consumo di combustibile. Inoltre,
una miscela troppo ricca sporcherebbe la candela causando
difficoltà di avviamento. L'utilizzo prolungato a una quota
diversa da quella a cui è stato certificato il motore può
aumentare le emissioni.
La potenza del motore diminuirebbe di circa il 3,5% ogni
300 metri (1.000 piedi) di aumento di quota. La diminuzione
di potenza del motore comporterebbe la diminuzione della
potenza del generatore.
Il generatore non deve essere utilizzato senza tutti
gli scudi termici installati in fabbrica in posizione.
Il mancato rispetto può causare il surriscaldamento
del serbatoio del combustibile e causare lesioni
personali dovute a incendi o esplosioni.
INSTALLAZIONE DEL SERBATOIO
1. Inserire delicatamente la bombola di
GPL all'interno dell'apposita apertura
sul coperchio superiore del serbatoio.
Assicurarsi che il flessibile ad alta
pressione si trovi nell'apposito spazio
e che si colleghi facilmente alla
valvola della bombola di propano
senza piegature o difetti. Assicurarsi
che la cinghia sia adeguatamente
avvolta attorno al corpo del
serbatoio.
2. Stringere la cinghia utilizzando l'apposito dispositivo di
bloccaggio. Il serbatoio non deve sollevarsi o muoversi.
3. Installare il raccordo sull'estremità del flessibile ad alta
pressione sul collegamento della valvola della bombola di
propano (simile a quella della maggior parte dei barbecue).
Avvitare fino in fondo il dado sulla valvola del serbatoio.

Prima di avviare il generatore, controllare che i
componenti non siano allentati o mancanti e che non presentino
danni dovuti al trasporto.

4. Per controllare la presenza di perdite, spruzzare
dell'acqua saponata sui raccordi della valvola e del
regolatore. Aprire lentamente la valvola del serbatoio. Se
è presente una perdita, si formeranno o appariranno delle
bolle di dimensioni o numero maggiore.
5. In caso di perdite è necessario risolvere immediatamente
il problema. NON UTILIZZARE L'UNITÀ Contattare
un centro di assistenza autorizzato.
