STARTING THE ENGINE
Disconnect all electrical loads from the unit.
1. Check oil level and fuel connections.
2. Open the cylinder fuel valve (A)
SLOWLY
to allow fuel
to flow to the generator.
3. Adjust choke (B) as necessary.
NOTE: For cold engine starting only, slide the choke
lever to the full choke position.
4. Turn the engine ON/OFF switch (C) to the “ON”
position.
5. Press down on the “Press to Prime” button for 2 seconds
to allow gas to flow.
6. Pull the recoil (D) slowly until resistance is felt, then
rapidly crank twice for gas to fill carburetor.
7. Set the choke lever to the RUN position.
8. Start the engine by pulling the recoil (D) slowly until
resistance is felt, then pull rapidly to crank the engine.
Repeat if necessary.
NOTE: If the engine fails to start, press the Primer
button again and repeat the starting instructions.
9. Plug in electrical loads.
APPLYING LOAD
This unit has been pretested and adjusted to handle its full
capacity. Before starting the generator, disconnect all load.
Apply load only after generator is running. Voltage is
regulated via the engine speed adjusted at the factory for correct
output. Readjusting will void warranty.
STOPPING THE GENERATOR
1. Before stopping the engine, make sure all electrical loads
are unplugged from the panel.
2. Let the engine run for two minutes without load.
3. Turn the engine ON/OFF switch to the “OFF” position.
4. Do not leave the generator until it has completely
stopped.
5. Turn off the Propane cylinder fuel valve.
6. If a cover is used, do not install until unit has cooled.
7. If the generator will not be used again for an extended
time period, refer to the
SERVICE AND STORAGE
section of this manual.

Provide adequate ventilation for toxic exhaust gases and
cooling air flow.
•
Do not start or run the generator in an enclosed area,
even if door or windows are open.
•
Engines give off carbon monoxide, an odorless, colorless,
poison gas.
•
Breathing carbon monoxide can cause nausea, fainting or
death.
When applying a load, do not exceed the maximum wattage
rating of the generator when using one or more receptacles.
Also, do not exceed the amperage rating of any one
receptacle.
Do not apply heavy electrical load during break-in period (the
first two to three hours of operations).

Allow generator to run at no load for two minutes upon each
initial start-up to permit engine and generator to stabilize.

4. Rode o interruptor de LIGAR/DESLIGAR o motor (C)
para a posição "LIGAR".
5. Pressione o botão “Pressione para Iniciar” durante 2 segun-
dos para permitir que o gás flua.

6. Puxe o recolhimento (D) lentamente até sentir resistência
e, em seguida, puxe duas vezes rapidamente para que o gás
encha o carburador.
7. Coloque a alavanca do acelerador na posição EXECUTAR.
8. Arranque o motor puxando o recolhimento (D) lentamente
até sentir resistência e, em seguida, puxe rapidamente para
pôr em marcha o motor. Repita a operação se necessário.
NOTA: Se o motor ao arrancar, pressione novamente o
botão Iniciar e repita as instruções de arranque.
9. Ligar cargas elétricas.
ARRANQUE
FUNCIONAMENTO
Deixe o gerador em funcionamento sem carga durante dois minutos após
cada arranque inicial para permitir que o motor e o gerador estabilizem.
CUIDADO
•
Forneça ventilação adequada para os gases de escape tóxi-
cos e para o fluxo de ar de refrigeração.
•
Não arranque nem execute o gerador numa área fechada,
mesmo que as portas ou janelas estejam abertas.
•
Os motores emitem monóxido de carbono, um gás inodoro,
incolor e venenoso.
•
Respirar monóxido de carbono pode causar náuseas, des-
maios ou morte.

APLICAR CARGA
Esta unidade foi testada e ajustada previamente para lidar
com a sua capacidade total. Antes de arrancar o gerador, desli-
gue todas as cargas. Aplique cargas apenas após o gerador estar
em funcionamento. A tensão é regulada através da velocidade
de motor ajustada na fábrica para uma saída correta. O seu
reajuste anulará a garantia.
Ao aplicar uma carga, não exceda a potência máxima do
gerador quando utilizar uma ou mais tomadas. Além disso,
não exceda o valor de amperagem de nenhuma tomada.
CUIDADO
Não aplique cargas elétricas pesadas durante o período inicial
(as primeiras duas a três horas de funcionamento).

PARAGEM DO GERADOR
1. Antes de parar o motor, certifique-se de que todas as cargas
elétricas estão desligadas do painel.
2. Deixe o motor em funcionamento durante dois minutos sem
carga.
3. Desloque o interruptor da chave para a posição “DESLIGA-
DO”.
4. Não saia de perto do gerador até que este tenha parado
totalmente.
5. Desliga a torneira de combustível da botija de gás propano.
6. Se for utilizada uma cobertura, não a instale até que a uni-
dade tenha arrefecido.
