LUBRICATION
DO NOT
attempt to start this engine without filling the
crank case with the proper amount and type of oil. Your
generator has been shipped from the factory
without oil
in the
crankcase. Operating the unit without oil can damage the
engine.
Fill the engine with oil according to the operator manual.
For units with a dipstick, fill oil to the proper level. Units
without a dipstick should be filled to the top of the opening of
the oil fill.
LOW OIL SENSOR
The unit is equipped with a low oil sensor. If the oil level
becomes lower than required, the sensor will activate a
warning device or stop the engine.
If generator shuts off and the oil level is within
specifications, check to see if generator is sitting at an angle
that forces oil to shift. Place on an even surface to correct this.
If engine fails to start, the oil level may not be sufficient to
deactivate low oil level switch. Make sure the sump is
completely full of oil.
LP GAS TANK
• Regulator inlet pressure range:
30 to 100 psi from LP
Gas tank.

LP Gas tank:
Maximum diameter allowable of the tank
300mm.
Do not use tanks that
are rusted or damaged.
Verify that the re-qualification dated on the tank is not
expired.
•
Purging LP Gas tanks:
The purging process should be
done by your LP Gas supplier. New tanks must be purged
of air and moisture before filling. Used cylinders must
also be purged if they have not been plugged or kept
closed.
•
Remove the safety plug or cap from the tank fuel valve.
•
Never allow children to tamper or play with the fuel tank
or generator.
GROUND TERMINAL LOCATION:
Do not use a pipe carrying combustible material as
the ground source.

Do not use or store LP Gas tank in a
building, garage or enclosed area.
•
Do not check for leaks with a match or
flame.
•
The LP Gas tank valve should be OFF
(closed) when the generator is not in use.
Contact with the liquid contents of the LP Gas tank
will cause freeze burns to the skin.

All the generators, when functioning normally, use the
principal of electrical separation; in these cases the Generator
should under no circumstances be earthed using the terminal
“ PE” or with any other part of the generator.
In the event of the user installing differential circuit breakers,
it is important for its correct functioning that the neutral point that
corresponds to the joint of the two main coils is also earthed.
Besides the generator is preset for grounding the masses; a special
screw, marked with the symbol PE, allows all the metal parts of
the generator set to be connected to a ground plate.
ANTES DO FUNCIONAMENTO
Todos os geradores, quando funcionam normalmente,
utilizam o princípio da separação elétrica. Nestes casos, o gerador
não deve, em circunstância alguma, ser ligado à terra utilizando o
terminal "PE" ou qualquer outra peça do gerador.
Caso o utilizador instale disjuntores diferenciais, é importante
para o seu correto funcionamento que o ponto neutro, que
corresponde à junção das duas bobinas principais, esteja também
ligado à terra.
Além de o gerador ser pré-configurado para ligação à terra das
massas, um parafuso especial, marcado com o símbolo PE, permite
que todas as peças metálicas do gerador estejam ligadas a uma
placa de terra.
SENSOR DE ÓLEO BAIXO
A unidade está equipada com um sensor de óleo baixo. Se
o nível de óleo ficar abaixo do necessário, o sensor irá ativar um
dispositivo de aviso ou parar o motor.
Se o gerador se desligar e o nível de óleo estiver dentro
das especificações, verifique se o gerador está assente num
ângulo que force o óleo a deslocar-se. Coloque o gerador sobre
uma superfície plana para retificar este aspeto. Se o motor não
arrancar, o nível de óleo pode não ser suficiente para desativar o
interruptor de nível de óleo baixo. Certifique-se que o depósito
está totalmente cheio de óleo.
TANQUE DE GÁS LP
CUIDADO
O contacto com o conteúdo líquido do tanque de gás LP
provocará queimaduras de congelação na pele.
•
Não utilize nem armazene o tanque de gás
LP num edifício, garagem ou área fechada
•
Não verifique se existem fugas com um
fósforo ou uma chama.
•
A válvula do tanque de gás LP deve ser
desligada (fechada) quando o gerador não
estiver em uso.
•
Intervalo de pressão do regulador da entrada:
30 a 100
psi do tanque de gás LP.
•
Tanque de gás LP:
O diâmetro máximo admissível do
tanque é 300 milímetros. Não utilize tanques enferrujados
ou danificados. Verifique se a data de requalificação no
tanque não foi ultrapassada.
•
Purga dos tanques de gás LP:
O processo de purga
deve ser efetuado pelo seu fornecedor de gás LP. Os
tanques novos devem ser purgados de ar e humidade
antes do enchimento. As botijas utilizadas também devem
ser purgadas caso não tenham sido ligadas ou mantidas
fechadas.
•
Remova o bujão ou a tampa de segurança da válvula do
tanque de combustível.
•
Nunca permita que as crianças mexam ou brinquem com
o gerador ou com o tanque de combustível.

NÃO
tente ligar este motor sem encher o cárter com o tipo
e a quantidade apropriada de óleo. O gerador foi enviado da
fábrica sem óleo no cárter. Colocar a unidade em funcionamento
sem óleo pode danificar o motor.
Encha o motor com óleo de acordo com o manual do
utilizador. Em unidades com vareta, abasteça de óleo até ao
nível adequado. As unidades sem vareta devem ser cheias até ao
topo da abertura de enchimento de óleo.
