LUBRICATION
DO NOT
attempt to start this engine without filling the
crank case with the proper amount and type of oil. Your
generator has been shipped from the factory
without oil
in the
crankcase. Operating the unit without oil can damage the
engine.
Fill the engine with oil according to the operator manual.
For units with a dipstick, fill oil to the proper level. Units
without a dipstick should be filled to the top of the opening of
the oil fill.
LOW OIL SENSOR
The unit is equipped with a low oil sensor. If the oil level
becomes lower than required, the sensor will activate a
warning device or stop the engine.
If generator shuts off and the oil level is within
specifications, check to see if generator is sitting at an angle
that forces oil to shift. Place on an even surface to correct this.
If engine fails to start, the oil level may not be sufficient to
deactivate low oil level switch. Make sure the sump is
completely full of oil.
LP GAS TANK
• Regulator inlet pressure range:
30 to 100 psi from LP
Gas tank.

LP Gas tank:
Maximum diameter allowable of the tank
300mm.
Do not use tanks that
are rusted or damaged.
Verify that the re-qualification dated on the tank is not
expired.
•
Purging LP Gas tanks:
The purging process should be
done by your LP Gas supplier. New tanks must be purged
of air and moisture before filling. Used cylinders must
also be purged if they have not been plugged or kept
closed.
•
Remove the safety plug or cap from the tank fuel valve.
•
Never allow children to tamper or play with the fuel tank
or generator.
GROUND TERMINAL LOCATION:
Do not use a pipe carrying combustible material as
the ground source.

Do not use or store LP Gas tank in a
building, garage or enclosed area.
•
Do not check for leaks with a match or
flame.
•
The LP Gas tank valve should be OFF
(closed) when the generator is not in use.
Contact with the liquid contents of the LP Gas tank
will cause freeze burns to the skin.
BEFORE OPERATION

All the generators, when functioning normally, use the
principal of electrical separation; in these cases the Generator
should under no circumstances be earthed using the terminal
“ PE” or with any other part of the generator.
In the event of the user installing differential circuit breakers,
it is important for its correct functioning that the neutral point that
corresponds to the joint of the two main coils is also earthed.
Besides the generator is preset for grounding the masses; a special
screw, marked with the symbol PE, allows all the metal parts of
the generator set to be connected to a ground plate.
PRIMA DELL'USO
In condizioni di normale funzionamento, tutti i generatori
sfruttano il principio di separazione elettrica; in questi casi, il
Generatore non deve mai essere messo a terra utilizzando il
morsetto “PE” o altre parti del generatore.
Qualora l'utente installi degli interruttori differenziali, per
il corretto funzionamento è importante che il punto neutro che
corrisponde al giunto delle due bobine principali sia anch'esso
messo a terra.
Inoltre, il generatore è predisposto per la messa a terra delle masse;
una vite speciale, contrassegnata con il simbolo PE, consente
il collegamento di tutte le parti metalliche del generatore a una
piastra di massa.
SENSORE DI BASSO LIVELLO DELL'OLIO
L'unità è dotata di un sensore di basso livello dell'olio. Se il livello
dell'olio scende al di sotto della soglia prevista, il sensore attiva un
dispositivo di segnalazione o arresta il motore.
Se generatore si spegne e il livello dell'olio rientra nella norma,
controllare se il generatore si trova in un'angolazione che causa lo
spostamento dell'olio. Per risolvere il problema, spostare il generatore
su una superficie piana. Se il motore non si avvia, il livello dell'olio
potrebbe non essere sufficiente a disattivare l'interruttore di basso livello
dell'olio. Assicurarsi che la coppa dell'olio sia completamente piena.
SERBATOIO DEL GAS GPL
ATTENZIONE
Il contatto con il contenuto liquido del serbatoio del Gas
GPL può causare ustioni cutanee da congelamento.
•
Non utilizzare o stoccare il serbatoio del
Gas GPL all'interno di edifici, garage o
ambienti chiusi.
•
Non controllare le perdite utilizzando
fiammiferi o fiamme.
•
La valvola del serbatoio del Gas GPL
deve essere SPENTA (chiusa) quando il
generatore non viene utilizzato.
•
Intervallo della pressione di entrata del regolatore:
da
30 a 100 psi dal serbatoio del Gas GPL.
•
Serbatoio del Gas GPL:
Diametro massimo del serbatoio
30 mm. Non utilizzare serbato arrugginiti o danneggiati.
Controllare che la data di riqualificazione sul serbatoio non
sia scaduta.
•
Spurgo dei serbatoi di Gas GPL:
Il processo di spurgo
deve essere eseguito dal fornitore del Gas GPL. Prima di
essere riempiti, i nuovi serbatoi devono essere spurgati
dall'aria e dall'umidità. Anche le bombole usate devono
essere spurgate se non sono state collegate o se sono
state tenute chiuse.
•
Rimuovere il tappo o cappuccio di sicurezza dalla valvola
del combustibile del serbatoio.
•
Non consentire mai ai bambini di manomettere o giocare
con il serbatoio del combustibile o con il generatore.
PERICOLO
LUBRIFICAZIONE
NON
tentare di avviare il motore senza riempire la coppa
con l'adeguata quantità e il giusto tipo di olio. Il generatore
viene spedito dalla fabbrica senza olio nella coppa. L'utilizzo
dell'unità senza olio può danneggiare il motore.
Riempire d'olio il motore secondo le modalità descritte
nel manuale operatore. Per le unità dotate di astina di livello,
versare l'olio fino al livello corretto. Le unità senza astina di
livello devono essere riempite fino in cima all'apertura per il
riempimento.
