6 • System Options

Setting Wait for Envelope (DM400M/DM475M)

Once all mail has left the feed deck, the machine runs for a few 

seconds waiting for more mail to be added. If no mail is added, 

the machine resets itself and 

Start

 has to be pressed to restart the 

machine.
Using this setting adds a delay which allows the machine to 

automatically restart when mail is placed on the feed deck.
1.  Press 

Options

.

2.  Select "Setup".
3.  Select "Time and Timeouts".
4.  Select "Wait for Envelope". 
5.  Key in the amount of seconds (from 0 to 180) before the system 

stops. 

6.  Select “OK”. The display returns to the “Time and Timeouts” 

menu.

7.  Press 

Home 

to return to home screen.

Setting the Low Funds Warning

You can set up the system so that when the postage remaining 

reaches a certain level, the system will remind you to add postage.
1.  Press 

Options

.

2.  Select "Setup".
3.  Select "Postage Limits".
4.  Select "Low Funds".
5.  Press the 

C

 key.

6.  Key in the amount you want. Select "OK".
7.  Press 

Home

 to return to the home screen.
