Switching the HDMI output
SC-LX81 only
Set which te r minal to use when out p utting video and
audio signals f r om the HDMI out p ut te r minals ( HDMI

The HDMI OUT1 te r minal is com p atible with the HDMI
cont r ol function.
• Set the operation selector switch to RCV, then press
HDMI OUT.

Checking your system settings
Use the status dis p lay sc r een to check you r cu rr ent
settings fo r featu r es such as su rr ound back channel
pr ocessing and you r cu rr ent MCACC pr eset.
1 Set the operation selector switch to RCV, then press
STATUS to check the system settings.
These a pp ea r on the f r ont p anel dis p lay.

The f r ont p anel dis p lay shows each of the following
settings fo r two seconds each:

switch off the display.
Resetting the system
Use this pr ocedu r e to r eset all the r eceive r ’s settings to
the facto r y default. Use the f r ont p anel cont r ols to do this.

2 While holding down HOME MENU on the front
panel, press  STANDBY/ON.

5 Press ENTER to confirm.
OK a pp ea r s in the dis p lay to indicate that the r eceive r
has been r eset to the facto r y default settings.
• Note that all settings will be saved, even if the
r eceive r is un p lugged.
Note
1 • Synchronized amp mode on p age 88 is canceled when the HDMI out p ut is switched. If you wish to use the synch r onized am p mode, switch
to HDMI OUT1 , then select the synch r onized am p mode on the flat p anel TV using the flat p anel TV’s r emote cont r ol.
• When the p owe r is tu r ned off then back on afte r switching the HDMI out p ut, the in p ut is set to a setting between HDMI1 and HDMI3, o r BD.
2 If the Pu r e Di r ect mode is switched on, some settings above will show OFF , even though they a r e on.
