Control
Check for possible damage to the bushing assem-
bly and to the bearings.
Installation
1 . Fit the bearings with the following special tools
with a press.
First apply lithium based multipurpose grease in
the prescribed quantity inside the bearing.
Specific tooling
020229Y Tools for needle bearing and sealing
rings replacement
020230Y Tools for pinion bearing and differen-
tial replacement
Characteristic
Prescribed depth of the bearing (A):
6 ÷ 6.3 mm
2 . Fit the new dust guard gaskets using the follow-
ing special tools.
Before fitting, apply grease onto the sliding surfa-
ces of the dust guard gaskets.
