Description Define the behavior of the output signal in case of a lost echo.

• Last valid value
The last valid value is kept in the case of a lost echo.
• Ramp at echo lost
In the case of a lost echo the output value is continuously shifted towards 0 % or
100 %. The slope of the ramp is defined in the Ramp at echo lost parameter
(page 126).
• Value echo lost
In the case of a lost echo the output assumes the value defined in the Value
echo lost parameter (page 125).
• Alarm
In the case of a lost echo the device generates an alarm; see the Failure mode
parameter (page 136).
