Configuring multiple SIP services on a SIP gateway
SIP gateways can be configured for use with multiple SIP services at the same time. Therefore there is a sub-
mode service <name> within the gateway SIP. It is necessary to specify in the SIP interface, which service of the
gateway shall be used for this interface using the
service
command. The following commands of the gateway
SIP have been moved to the service submode:

authentication
•
call-transfer-version
•
contact-address
•
default-server
•
domain
•
nat-traversal
•
new-session-after-redirect
•
registrar
•
registration-lifetime
•
session-timer
•
session-timer-version
•
use profile sip
There is now also a new command
realm
within the
service
submode to define the realm to be used for this
service. If there is more than one service configured on a gateway the realm must be configured on each service.
