NOTE: Measurement distance 10 m.
For category C1, if the field strength measurement at 10 m cannot be made because of high
ambient noise levels or for other reasons, measurement may be made at 3 m. If the 3 m
distance is used, the measurement result obtained shall be normalised to 10 m by
subtracting 10 dB from the result. In this case, care should be taken to avoid near field
effects, particularly when the PDS (Power Drive System) is not of an appropriately small size,
and at frequencies near 30 MHz.
When multiple drives are used 3dB attenuation per drive needs to be added.
