Step 5: Setting up the printer driver and printer port on the client
computer
If the printer driver is already installed on your computer,
see “[C] If the printer driver is already
installed” on page 91
.
[A] Using the printer CD-ROM disk when the printer driver is not installed
First install the printer driver and set up the printer port using the printer CD-ROM disk as follows. If the
shared folder has made to setup the other computer when installing the printer software on the another
computer in the network, you can set up a computer using the shared folder. See
“[B] Setting a
computer using the shared folder” on page 90
.

Insert the printer CD-ROM disk into the CD-ROM drive.
The CD-ROM launches automatically.
NOTE:
• If the CD-ROM does not launch automatically, perform the following steps (1) - (2).
(1) Double click
