ADJ1. 1. 6 DC685 Color Registration Adjustment
Purpose
To optimize timing for writing Y. M. C. K.
DC685 has following four sub DC codes.
1.
DC685
-1: Skew Fine SetUP
2.
DC685
-2: IN/OUT SetUP
3.
DC685
-3: Center SetUP
4.
DC685
-4: Skew Rough SetUP
Always, perform in the sequence of 1 -> 2 -> 3. Perform 4 only if an error occurs while
performing 1 -> 2 -> 3.
The following describes summary flow of the process for color registration adjustment.

Always perform the adjustment after the following operation is performed.
• Detatching/Replacing of the LSU (ROS)
• NVM Initialization
• Detaching of the Developer Plate
Make sure to perform DC956 Belt Edge Learn before conducting this adjustment.
Check IOT Lead Edge/Side Edge, after the adjustment. (Refer to ADJ1. 1. 9)
Check that the Drum ERU is securely set when adjusting.
Perform the following in order to avoid laser exposure.
Make sure to set the collection bottle when instructing the print after cheating the
Front Cover Interlock.
When performing DC685, make sure to start performing from DC685-1, not from others
(DC685-2, 3, 4).
Do NOT move the Belt manually while performing DC685, since the machine
memorizes the belt position or the cam position when each DC685 was completed.
