Transmit images from cameras to an
FTP Server
It is possible to transmit images from cameras to an
FTP server.
Image transmission can be performed at a designated
time periodically (FTP transmission by periodic timer) or
at an event occurrence (FTP image transmission by
alarm).
Transmit images from cameras
periodically
It is necessary to perform the settings on the setup
menu in advance to transmit images from cameras to
an FTP server periodically.
The settings relating to "Image transmission by periodic
timer" such as FTP server directory, transmission inter-
val, source camera channel, etc. can be performed on
the setup menu ("Server" - "FTP" - "Image transmission
by periodic timer").
Refer to the setup instructions (PDF) for information on
how to configure the settings.
When the image compression method of the camera
used for the camera channel selected for "Channel to
send" (under "Image transmission by periodic timer" of
"FTP" on the "Server" page) is "MPEG-4", images will
not be transmitted.
Transmit images from cameras at an
event occurrence
It is necessary to perform the settings on the setup
menu in advance to transmit images from cameras to
an FTP server at an event occurrence.
The settings relating to "FTP image transmission by
alarm" such as FTP server name, "Duration-Pre",
"Duration-Post", etc. can be performed on the setup
menu ("Server" - "FTP " - "Image transmission by
alarm").
Refer to the setup instructions (PDF) for information on
how to configure the settings.
Send mails
A mail that notifies of the event occurrence with the time
and date of the event occurrence will be sent. (Alarm
mail)
To send alarm mails at an event occurrence, configure
the settings in advance. Refer to the setup instructions
(PDF).
Note:
• It is possible to attach an image to the alarm mail.

• Up to 4 destination addresses of the alarm mail can
be registered.
