Playback
Playback of recorded images
It is possible to play recorded images. There are 3 ways to play recorded images as follows.
• Play recorded images by designating a time and date
• Search and play recorded images
• Select a recording area and play images recorded on the selected recording area

Click the [HDD] tab.

Click the [PLAY] button.
Playback of recorded images will start. The
"Playback" indication and the "Step 1" indication will
be displayed.
Playback will start from the finish point (time and
date) of the last playback.

Click the [STOP] button on the [HDD] tab.
Playback will stop, and the "Playback" indication and
the "Step 1" indication will disappear.
• Live images will be displayed.
Note:
• When playing recorded images on a 1-screen, audio recorded together with images will be heard.
• When displaying recorded images on a multi-screen, audio from the camera to be displayed on a screen at the
upper left corner will be heard.
• When starting playback for the first time after login, the latest recorded image will be played. At the default, play
-
back will start 30 seconds before the start time of the latest recorded image. The following are available for the
playback start point.
5s/10s/30s/1min/5min (before the latest recorded image)
Refer to a system administrator for information of the setting.
• When a web browser and the viewer software are running at the same time, audio may not be heard correctly.
Run either the web browser or the viewer software only to play audio.
• Playback speed may become slow or playback may stop for a while when load to be processed is getting higher
(such when many cameras are connected or when live/recorded images from many cameras are displayed on
multiple screens).
• When playing images on a multi-screen, images will be played with frame dropping.
• When simultaneously playing images recorded at a different recording rate (one at a higher rate and the other at
a lower rate) on a multi-screen, the difference between the displayed playback time on each screen will be
widen.
• To play SD memory data, filter data using the recording event search and select data to be played from the result
list. (page 25)
• Playback images and audio may sometimes not be synchronized exactly.
• It is possible to change camera channels during playback by clicking the desired camera title on the list.
• It is possible to switch 1-screen to a multi-screen during playback by clicking the [Multiscreen select] button.
• Clicking the camera title during playback on a multi-screen will display images from the camera respective to the
clicked camera title on a 1- screen.
