Uninstalling the MIS Server Software
Before uninstalling the MIS Server application, the MIS Service must be
stopped. Additionally, if Control Panel is open the MIS Server
Configuration applet is in use. Software modules that are running or in use
can not be uninstalled.
Stopping the MIS Server
1. Open the Control Panel

3. Stop MIS Database Analysis service
4. Close

1. Create a short cut on the Desk Top for Control Panel

4. Select MIS Server and Add/Remove button
Note:
• To prevent the accidental loss of customer data: removing the MIS
Server does not remove C:\SMD\Mserver folder or the customer
databases. To remove the customer databases simply delete the
C:\SMD folder and all of its contents. The MIS Server Service must
be stopped.
• The MIS Server uninstaller does not remove Win NT Registry
settings making software upgrades easier. SMD Registry entries can
be found in:
