buttons and confirm the setting by pressing the

= no buffer tank available

num-DHW
(domestic hot water circuit)
parameter, adjust as required using the
[+]
and
[–]
buttons and confirm the
setting by pressing the
[OK]
button:
0
= no domestic hot water circuit available
1
= domestic hot water circuit available

Using the

button, select the
num-HC
(heating circuit) parameter, adjust as
required using the
[+]
and
[–]
buttons and confirm the setting by pressing the
[OK]
button:
0
= no heating circuit available
1
= one heating circuit is available
2
= Two heating circuits are available
Performing cold start
Important notice
Using the parameter
cold start = 1
, the loading of the system diagram and the
currently set
parameter values
is started. All previous settings (if present) are lost. All parameter are set to
the values that were set at the time of the cold start.

button, select the
cold start
parameter.

Using the
[+]
button, set the parameter to
1
and confirm with the
[OK]
button.

Watch the display until the following appears:
SYSTEM DIAGRAM 99999 IS LOADED

Structuring is completed.
After commissioning and by using manual configuration, the assignment of input and output
terminals and the adaptation of the control loops must be made to the system configuration.
Notice
After the HPM controller has been configured, the current configuration can be saved. For this,
the controller must be connected to a PC or Service Notebook and the correct software must be
used (e.g. hpm-read to read out, hpm-write to write back, hpm-control for menu operation via
PC).
