Attaching the controller to the base
WARNING
Electric shock from electrical voltage!
The device is operated using 230 V AC voltage: Danger to life from electric shock by contact
with conducting parts.
►
Switch off power supply, prior to attaching the controller to the base.
Prior to the installation, the controller must be attached to the base as follows:

Align the insides of the controller and base in a manner that the pins on the
controller housing extend into the corners of the base housing.
►
Press the controller and base against each other, until the two components are
completely closed.
►
Then press the snap-in connection on the base housing until they latch into the
recess.
6.4 Interfaces
The HPM controllers are equipped with communication interfaces whose connection sockets
are located at the bottom of the controller.
The descriptions of the interfaces are shown in the terminal connection diagram on the inside of
the controller. The terminal connection diagram can only be seen if the controller is separated
from the base (→
