8.2 Loading the system diagram in the HPM controller
When loading the system diagram for configuring the HPM controller, a distinction is made
between the following procedures:
●
Initial loading during initial commissioning of the controller.
● Repeat loading (e.g. if initial configuration is incomplete or there is change of
configuration)
● Manual configuration (if no suitable system diagram is available)
This method, however, is significantly more time-consuming, complex and error
prone and is therefore not recommended for commissioning.
Recommended method
To configure the HPM controller, Panasonic recommends the “
Easy setup
“ since this is the
fastest and most dependable method.
With this method, the HPM takes over the parameter configuration of the selected system
diagram, but the user can adjust the standard setpoints of the most important parameter for
the respective heating system. This has the advantage that the configuration of the controller is
completed after the loading and no further adjustments are necessary for the system operation.
During loading of the system diagram, the following is performed:
● All inputs and outputs are configured according to the terminal assignment and
assigned to the control circuits.
●
All basic functions are activated and the associated parameters are set to their
standard setpoints.
●
By selecting the quick-commissioning (selection in the
System diagrams
menu of the HPM:
Easy Setup = 1
) up to 99 % of the setpoint settings can be
adjusted and automatically assigned.
After that, the HPM controller is completely configured.
The sequence of the configuration is shown schematically on the following page. The method
for the
Easy setup on initial loading
is indicated by a “
yes
”.
